domain was founded by Philippe Cartoux in 1989. The
vineyards had then been owned by his family since 1879.
The property owns 9,5 ha: Gigondas (3 ha), Cotes du Rhone Village Sablet
and Cotes du Rhone.
Today the domain covers 9,5 ha.: Gigondas (3 ha.),
Sablet (2,5 ha.) and Cotes du Rhone (4 ha.)
Philippe Cartoux is married to the owner of Domaine
de Montvac, Cécile Dusserre. Here he is responsible for the work in the vineyards.

Aged for 6 months in barriques
