In 1991 Christophe Galon took over the family's
vineyards. Through the years until 2009/2010 he delivered the grapes to
the cooperativ. In 2009 he made and bottled his first wine a Chateauneuf du Pape
with the name Montagne Vieille. Since 2010 Gigondas and Vacqueyras are
also made and bottled. The wines ar made in an old cellar in Vacqueyras.
The domain covers 0,22 ha of
Chateauneuf du Pape (at Côte de l'Ange), 8,5 ha in Vacqueyras, and 3,3 ha
of Gigondas

2015:100% Mourvedre. Aged for 14 months in older barriques.
Gigondas Clos du Garde
2015: 75% Grenache and 25% Syrah. Aged for 14 months in older barriques.
Vacqueyras Séduction

Christophe Galon is himeself making the labels for his wines. New ones for each vintage.
Christophe and Yu Yen lives in a very beautiful home one kilometre from Vacqueyas. Christophe has always been a traveller - especially in the far East. Twenty years ago he met Yu Yen in China. She is born in Taiwan. In their home you can see many beautiful things they have brought home from the far East.
