This property contains a nursery (the second biggest in France) and a winery. 
It was Jean-François' father Jean Barnier who built the wine cellars. He sold all the production to negociant. It was not until Jean-François Barnier became responsible for the winemaking that the wines were bottled at the domain.
The nursery is able to deliver around 50 varieties. Many varieties are used in the wine production to make single varietal wines or unusul blends of IGP-wines. 
The property covers 100 ha of which a few ha are AOC Vacqueyras.
The nursery covers around 50 ha and the vines for vinification roughly the same area.
