The buildings of the domain was former a small monastery from 12th century - from here the name.
Since 2003 the manager of the domain is Guillaume Dugas, who is a son of Alain Dugas known as a former manager from Chateau la Nerthe in Chateauneuf du Pape and Domaine la Renjarde in Serignan du Comtat.
Guilliame is in charge of the operation today, while the overall responsibility will always lie with the director at Chateau La Nerthe - today Ralph Garcin.
The domain covers 32 ha of Tavel and the sandy soil and pebbles.
Since 2012 the vineyards are certified agriculture biologique. Only one cuvée is made
