1937 Séguret was included in the new appellation Cotes du Rhone.
1967 Séguret became Cotes du Rhone Village

Séguret commune covers 21 km2. The altitude varies from 125 to 424 metres.
The village Séguret is situated in analtitude of 262 metres.

Rouge and Rosé

Primary varieties must together be at least be 80%
Syrah and Mourvedre must together be at least 25%.
Other grapes allowed for Cotes du Rhone, may not exceed 20%.
White varieties may be used for rosé but may not exceed 5%.

Blanc
Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, Bourboulenc and Viognier must be at least 80%.

Single variety wines are not allowed (Assemblage)
Rouge and Rosé
The blend must contain two of the primary varieties.
Grenache is obligatory
