The domain was founded about 1920 by Frédéric Pierre Auguste Chastan. The
3th generation, Dany Chastan has run the domain together with
his father Fernand Chastan since 1980 and sice1999 her sister Carole has
joined her.
Since 1980 the vineyards have been cultivated organic Since 1989 they are certified agriculture
biologique.
10 ha. of the vines in Gigondas are situated at lieu-dit Clos du Joncuas.

80% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, Syrah, Cinsault. Aged for 12 months
in foudres.
Gigondas Cuvée Esprit de Grenache
From the oldest Grenache vines planted in 1958.
Aged for 12 months in foudres or demi-muids.
Gigondas Rosé
Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah.
Vacqeyras La Font de Papier
80% Grenache and 20% Syrah, Mourvedre.
