Pierre Amadieu owns 137 ha of which 127 ha is Gigondas. That is around 
10% of the whole appellation (2015: 1214 ha in production)
Furthermore the firm owns 13 ha in Cotes du Rhone,  Ventoux and IGP.

The history starts in 1929, when Grand father Pierre Amadieu purchased 7 ha and in this way founded the firm.
Today his descendants run the domain, His son Claude is responsable for the vineyards and Pierre Amadieu Jr. his grandson - a nephew of Claude - is responsible for the general management and the winemaking. Claude's  two
sons Damien and Jean-Marie both work at the domain.

Gigondas Le Pas de l'Aigle
2016: 90% Grenache, 10% Syrah in an altitude of 400m.
Aged for 24 months in barrels.

Gigondas Grand Romane 
2018: 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, 15% Syrah.
Aged for 18 months, 15% in new barrels, 45% in older barrels, 40% in forudres.

Gigondas Romane Machotte
2018: 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. 
Aged in foudres or older barrels.

Gigondas Romane Machotte Rosé
2018: 60% Grenache, 10% Mouevedre (press direct)
15% Cinsault, 15% Syrah (saignée)
Aged in newr barrels for 4 month.



Cairanne Les Hautes Rives
2018: 60% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre, 15% Syrah.

Cairanne Blanc Les Hautes Rives
2019: 50% Clairette, 30% Grenache Blanc, 20% Roussanne

Cotes du Rhone Blanc Domaine Grand Romane
2019: 100% Clairette planted in 1955. 
30% fermented and aged in new barrels for 6 months
.

Cotes du Rhone Blanc Domaine Grand Romane

2018: 100% Clairette plantet i 1955. Fermented and aged in barriques for 6 months

Ventoux Les Piallats
2018: Mainly Grenache with other varieties
50% Aged in 1-2-years barriques

Ventoux Rosé La Clarietiere
2018: Grenache and Cinsault.

The two domains belonging to Amadieu La Marchotte and Romane cover 127 ha surrounded by 200 ha of garrigues with oak threes. They are named after the lieux-dits where they are situated in the north-eastern corner of Gigondas at an altitude 230-500m
.
