The 5 ha owned by Eddie Féraud is an inheritage from the same Féraud family you meet at Pegau. Laurence Féraud is Eddie Feraud's cousin.
Eddie Feraud bottled his first wine in 1980.
In 2012 Eddie's son Yannick
took over the domain
The vines are very old - average age about 60 years.
The vinification is quite traditional. With the great share of old Grenache you don't have to destem the bunches.
All the old foudres has before they were bought of Eddie Feraud contained Schwiss ale. It's not possible to go inside to clean them and therefore it's important to fill up as soon the finished wine have been removed

The drawing of the ruins of the castle at the labels are made by Yannick's grandfather before World War II. At that time  the 4 walls at the tower were intact. When the Germans had to withdraw from Chateauneuf du Pape they wanted to destroy their listening equickment. The explosion to do that removed also part of the tower.
