The property has been in possession of the family since 1883 when the great grand father of François Laget bought the estate.
In 1979 François Laget took over the property from his grandfather and named the place Domaine Pontifical. 
His daughter Pauline has joined her father and in due time she will be the 4th generation to run the domain.
The vineyards cover 17 ha of Chateauneuf du Pape, of which 1 ha. is planted with white varieties.

2016: 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 5% Cinsault, 5% Mourvedre. Aged in older foudres for at least 12 months

Chateauneuf du Pape Les Vieilles Vignes d'Albert
90% Grenache og 10% Syrah. Aged in barriques.
Named after the great grand father

Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc
2019: 35% Roussanne, 30% Bourboulenc, 18% Clairette, 17% Grenache Blanc. Roussanne aged in barriques
