The Geniest family founded their domain in 1909. 
The last heir of that family became John Geniest. He was a lawyer in Avignon. His widow Monique Geniest is today  the owner of the domain. Monique was born Tramier and descends in a straight line from Pierre Tramier who in 1909 bought the Chateau de Beaucastel and became the ancestor of the Perrin family.
The domain covers 30 hectares of vineyards in one bloc at lieu-dit La Lionne in Sorgues not far from the river Rhone. Here are the cave situated and some modernisation have been made there.

2016: 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Cinsault, Mourvedre and Picpoul Noir.  Aged in foudres.
