From father to son through 300 years. That should bee 10 generations, since André Alary started at the place in 1692.
Since 1984 the brothers Frédéric and François Alary have done their part to continue the family tradition.
Today the domain, named after a small chapel (Oratoire), covers 25 ha. (20 ha. Cairanne and 5 ha. Cotes du Rhone). 5 of them are planted for more than 100 years ago.
80% of the production is red wine from 60% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah.
18% is white wine (unusual high share ) from 50% Marsanne, 30% Roussanne, 15% Clairette and 5% Viognier.  The remaining 2% is rosé.

The vineyards are cultivated and certified biodynamique by Demeter since 2013.
