Romain Corbin has until
resently been working at properties belonging to his family but has now founded
a domain of his own. His first vintage at the new Domaine Le Pré Neuf is 2005.
Corbin owns 10 ha of
Vinsobres and 4 ha of Cotes du Rhone by which 2 ha are planted resently.
Since 2011 the vineyards are certified agriculture biologique..
Wines:
Vinsobres
65% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 10% Carignan. Grenache and Carignan are aged in tank.
Syrah is aged for 5-7 months in 2 years old barriques.
Vinsobres Cuvée Raoul
Corbin
50% Grenache, 45% Syrah and 5% Carignan. Syrah is aged for 6 months in barriques,
Carignan and Grenache in tank.
Cotes du Rhone
80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Carignan.
Cotes du Rhone Rosé
50% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 25% Cinsault.
