Vallot is the 4. generation at the domain. of which he have been in charge since
1976.
The total area is 31 ha.: 20 ha. Vinsobres,
7 ha. Cotes
du Rhone and 4 ha. Vin du Pays.
A part of the production is sold in bulk.
Since the harvest 2007 the domain
has been certified as agriculture biodynamic.
Wines
Vinsobres
75% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre.
Vinsobres Cuvée Claude Vallot
70% Grenache and 30% Syrah.
Fermented in cement tank and aged in barriques or demi-muids.
Vinsobres Les Haut des Côtes
65% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre. Aged in barriques for
3 months.
Vinsobres Cuvée l'Exceptions
50% Grenache and 50% Syrah. Aged in barriques for
3 months.
Cotes du Rhone
70% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre, 10% Cinsault, Clairette and
Bourboulenc.
Cotes du Rhone Clos de la Magnaneraie
99% Syrah and 1% Grenache. Fro 1 ha. planted in 1985.
Cotes du Rhone Rosé
90% Grenache and 10% Cinsault.
Cotes du Rhone Blanc
90% Grenache Blanc and 10% Clairette.
Cotes du Rhone Blanc Le Haut des Côtes
55% Viognier, 25% Clairette and 20% Grenache Blanc.
Fermented and aged in barriques.
