Valayer, 4. generation of wine growers, runs the property together with his two
sons Hubert (winemaker) and Denis.
The domain has a total area of 51 ha.
20 ha in Vinsobres, 20 ha Cotes du Rhone Village Saint Maurice and 11 ha in
Cotes du Rhone.
From Cotes du Rhone Village only red wine is made but from Cotes du Rhone red, white and
rosé.
Wines:
Vinsobres
70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre.
Age of vines: 25-60 years. Matured in tank
Vinsobres Cuvée Jean-Marie Valayer
70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre. Aged for 12 months in barriques
Vinsobres Les Rabasses
100% Grenache. Aged for 6 months in barrels.
Cotes du Rhone Village Saint Maurice
70% Grenache and 30% Syrah.
Cotes du Rhone
75% Grenache and 25% Syrah
Cotes du Rhone Les Oliviers
100% Syrah. Aged for 6 months in barrels.
