In 1999 Valérie Chaume−Arnaud took over from her parents. For some
years she had rented some fields and started vinification (she has an education as
an oenolog) and bottling – something her parents had never done as they sold all
the crop to the cooperative.
Now Valérie and her husband Philippe own 33 ha in Vinsobres and 6 ha in
Cotes
du Rhone Village Massif d'Uchaux and Saint-Maurice.
Since 2009 the domain has been certified as biodynamic.
Vinsobres
60% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre, 5% Carignan and 5% Cinsault.
Vinsobres La Cadène
50% Grenache and 50% Syrah. From around 60-years-old vines.
Only made in exeptionel good vintages.
Cotes du Rhone Village Saint Maurice
80% Grenache and 20% Carignan.
