The name of the domain relates to a glasblower who  lived at the place in the 15th century. (is to be seen at the label).
In 1969 the domain was established by Bernard Maubert.
Since 1985 his son has worked at the domain and he is the owner today.

Old wine cellars from 1900 are still in use but in 2000 the cellar was modernised and a new ageing cellar was constructed.

The domain covers 28 ha. The work in the vineyards are organic but probably not yet certified.
