The name of the domain comes from the former owner Louis Rey who after 20 years of militaty service in the colonies went home and took over the domain after his parents. He was called Louiset. After his death in 1968 a niece Andrée Forestier and her husband Ange Pellegrini got the domain, and since 1980 their son Serge Pellegrini and his wife Régine have been in charge. The next generation Sophie, Coline og Nina will be ready some day in the future.

The fields are cultivated biological (Nature & Progres) certified by ECOCERT since 1998.

The domain covers 19 ha. of vineyards.
