Martine and Christian Vâche took over the
domain in 1987, and then renovated the buildings and the cellar. The son of Christian Vâche,
Damien,
will be the next generation and has since 2005 assisted his father at the
domain.
The domain covers 20 ha. of which 17 ha. is Vacqueyras and the rest Cotes
du Rhone. The vinyards are certified agriculture biologique since 2010.
Vacqueyras Les Calades
70%
Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Cinsault. Production 10.000 bt.
Vacqueyras Les 2 Monardes
70% Grenache and 30% Syrah.
Grenache is aged in tank and Syrah in barriques for 12 mdr. Production 30.000 bt.
Vacqueyras Vieilles Vignes
60% Grenache (60-years-old vines), 20% Syrah and 20% Mourvedre. Aged in demi-muids
for about 18 months. Production 12.000 bt.
Vacqueyras Blanc Galéjade
40% Grenache
Blanc, 40% Roussanne and 20% Viognier. Fermented
and aged in demi-muids by which 50% are new. Production 4.000 bt.
