Jean-François Lénelle arrived to Rhone from Belgium
in 2007. After some searching he found and bought vineyards in Cairanne and
Vacqueyras.
You must also have a place to make the wines and he purchased an old house
with cellar both in disrepair. Some of the vineyards have been
replanted.
In 2008 he made his first wines.
The cellars were not restored so the first vintage was made at another domain
in Vacqueyras.
For vintage 2009 the facilities are in place for vinification in own
cellar.
Lots of administrative and manual work has been done so far.
First
vintage (2008) was made from 4,3 ha. in Vacqueyras, 3 ha. in Cairanne and from
0,6 ha. Vin du Pays.
The wineyards are certified agriculture biologique since 2011.

80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre. Vacqueyras
Fût Chène
80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre. Aged in new barriques for 3-4 months.
