The domaine was created in 1975 when the brothers Richard divided their property and J Richard became the owner of what became Domaine le Sang des Cailloux. In 1979 Serge Férigoule became an employe at the domain. He was educated from the wine school in Montpellier. As Richard had no family to succeed him Serge Férigoule became co-owner and later on the owner of the domain in 1990. In 2001 new cellars were established.

The domain owns 17 ha in AOC Vacqueyras
Since 2010 the vineyards have been certified agriculture biologique.

Vacqueyras Cuvée Floureto, Cuvée Doucinello or Cuvée Azalaïs.
70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 7% Mourvedre and 3% Cinsault.
The names do not relate to difference in style but are simply the names of the daughters of Serge Férigoule.
The wine is aged for at least 6 months in barrels or foudres.

Vacqueyras Vieilles Vignes Cuvée de Lopy
75% Grenache and 25% Syrah. The wine is aged in barrels for 12-15 months. 

Vacqueyras Cuvée Oumage
Only made in very special vintages from very old vines. 
This wine is aged in 1-3 years old barrels for 24 months. On the website of the domain it's recommended to put the wine in decanter 3-4 hours before drinking.

Vacqueyras Blanc Un Sang Blanc
20% Grenache Blanc, 20% Clairette, 20% Viognier, 20% Bourboulenc and 20% Roussanne. Aged in new demi-nuids for about 15 months.
