The property has been in possession of the Bretton-Crouzet families for 10 generations.
The name Magalane was chosen in 1971 from the name - Magali - of the mother of Jean-Baptiste Crouzet.
Since 1985 the wines became single crop at the place and in 1992 new cellars were built.
The 25 ha belonging to the domain are devided with lots of parcels in 5 communes, Domazan, Estézargues, Montfrin, Théziers and Saze.
Jean-Baptiste Crouzet has 25 years old - after finishing his studies -  taken over from his father in 2006.
In 2009 30% of the production is bottled at the domain.

Wines

Cotes du Rhone Village Signargues Terre du Galet
60% Syrah, 30% Mourvedre and 10% Grenache.
Mourvedre aged in barriques for 10 months. Production 3.000 bt.

Cotes du Rhone Village Terre de Garrigues
40% Syrah, 40% Mourvedre and 20% Grenache.
In tank for 6 months and then in barriques for 6-10 months. Production 20.000 bt.

Cotes du Rhone
40% Grenache, 30% Syrah,15% Carignan and 15% Cinsault. Production 5.000 bt.

Cotes du Rhone Rosé
30% Grenache, 30% Clairette Rosé, 20% Cinsault and 20% Syrah.

Cotes du Rhone Blanc
45% Roussanne, 30% Marsanne and 25% Grenache Blanc.
