Until a few years ago the place was known as La Croix de Maillet - Ferme Louis
Voeux.
The owners, Aline and Louis Voeux,
sold their fruits at the market in Seguret. The grapes from 11 hectares
of vineyards were sold to a co-operative. In 2005 Aline and Louis
preferred retirement and the son Christian
Voeux took over their property.
You must say that the son,
Christian Voeux, had some experience. For 24 years he was Maître de Chais
at Chateau Mont-Redon in Chateauneuf du Pape and since then he has been
responsible for the wine making at Chateau la
Nerthe.
His first vintage at Amauve was 2006:

80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Partly aged in barrels for 14-18 months.

La Daurèle
40% Grenache Blanc and Clairette and Viognier.

80% Grenache and 20% Syrah.
