Domaine du Beaurenard owns 25 ha in Rasteau. From the fields are made two
cuvées of Cotes
du Rhone Village Rasteau from 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah.
All vineyards belonging to Domaine de Beaurenard will be agriculture
biologique from 2010 and then from 2012 agriculture biodynamique.
All wines are made in the cellars of Domaine du Beaurenard in Chateauneuf du
Pape.
Cotes du Rhone Village Rasteau
Aged in small foudres (30 hl) og troncated oak tanks 15-18 months.
Cotes du Rhone Village Rasteau Cuvée
Les Argiles Bleues
Fermented in troncated oak tanks and aged here for 12 month. then afterwards
aged for 6 months in small foudres.
Vin Doux Naturel
100% Grenache. Aged for about two years in
barrels.
In 1982 Paul Coulon established a wine museum in the buildings of the domain
in Rasteau. Here you can study quite a big collection of tools used by the wine
growers from earlier generations.
