The domain covers 118 ha. situated in Tulette, Bouchet, Visan, Valréas and Rasteau.
The vineyards in Rasteau was bought in 2008-2009.
The birth of the domain has a funny story. During the second World War
Philippe Mazurd's father, Andre Mazurd took care of his uncle's
vineyards. When the uncle returned from the war he gave a hectar to Andre,
and through the years since then this one hectar has increased to 118 ha.
The vinefication is very traditional and destemming is not used. With
so many hectares harvest machine is used when possible. Most of the
cuvées are fermented by maceration carbonique.
The wines below were presented at the domain's website
in 2010.
The several old vintages for sale are normal for the estate as many of
the wines need ageing for quite a long time.
