The first vines on this property were planted in 1875, approximately 1 ha. In 1926 the first private cellar in Rasteau (Cave Nicolet) were constructed here and the vines took over from cerials in the fields. Grenache and Carignan were planted at that time.
Jean Pierre Bertrand became the owner in 1999. He now owns 20 ha. by which 14 ha. is Rasteau and 6 ha. Cotes du Rhone.

Wines:

Cotes du Rhone Village Rasteau
80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. 15% aged in one-year-old barriques.

Cotes du Rhone Village Rasteau Les Esqueyrons
50% Grenache and 50% Syrah. Aged in two-years-old barriques.

Cotes du Rhone Village Rasteau Vieilles Vignes
Mainly Grenache

Cotes du Rhone
85% Grenache 10% Syrah and 5% Carignan.

Cotes du Rhone Rosé
50% Grenache, 40% Cinsault and 10% Syrah.

Vin Doux Naturel
100% 80-years-old Grenache. Aged in cement tank.
