Plan de Dieu is the name of a plain
between Camaret Sur Aigues and Violés.
Until 2005 the appellation of the wines from here was Cotes du Rhone Village.
From 2005 it is allowed to name wines from certain fields in four
communes Cotes du Rhone Village Plan de Dieu.
The four communes are Camaret-sur-Aigues, Jonquieres,
Violes and Travaillan.
Only red wines are included.
The potential area in the appellation is about 1500 ha.
