Domaine La
Bouscatière has been in the Saurel family's possession for
about 100 years and has been handed over from father to son for
four generations.
After finishing wine school Laurent
Chauvet-Saurel has worked together with his father Christian
Saurel since 2002. Bottling at the domain started in 1996.
The domain covers 21,5 ha.: 7,5 ha
Gigondas 2,5 ha Vacqueyras, 5,3 ha Cotes du Rhone Village Plan de
Dieu, 4,7 ha Cotes du Rhone and 1,5 ha Vin du Table.
Only Gigondas and Cotes du Rhone are bottled at the domain.
Domaine le Péage has
been in the Chauvet family's possession for more than 100
years. The domain started as one of the first in Gigondas bottling
at the domain in 1945. The domain covers 15 ha. of Gigondas.
Laurent Chauvet-Saurel unite through heritage from his mother
(Sabine, born Chauvet) the fields from the two families.
Domaine la Péage Gigondas
75% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre.
Aged at first in cement tank and then in foudres for about 10
months. (2007: 9,5€)
Domaine Bouscatière Gigondas
78% Grenache, 18% Mourvedre og 4% Syrah.
Aged at first in cement tank and then in foudres for about 10

Domaine Bouscatière Cotes du Rhone
70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre and 5% Cinsault. (Debut
