The domain is named from the martyr St. Daimen. There is a small chapel in Beaumette dedicated to him.
Joël is the fifth generation at the domain and has been resposible since 1978.
The domain owns 22 ha Gigondas (12 ha.) and Cotes du Rhone.
The average age of the vines are 70 years. Some are more than 100 years old.

In conversion to agriculture biologique. Certification expected from 2012.
The domain is advised by the oenolog Philippe Cambie since 1998.

The wines

Gigondas Classique
From 3,2 ha. with 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre.
The age of the vines is 30-40 år and the yield 28-30 hl./ha.
30 days of maceration and then ageing in foudres for about 10 months.

Gigondas Les Souteyrades  
From 5,5 ha. (lieu-dit Souteyrades) with 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre. 60-70-years-old vines. Yield 25 hl/ha. 6 weeks maceration and then ageing in foudres for about 12 months. Should be kept at least 4 years after the harvest

Gigondas La Louisanne
Fra 3,5 ha. (lieu-dit Louisiane) with 80% Grenache, 15% Mourvedre and 5% Cinsault.
The vines are more than 80-years-old, and the yield 20 hl/ha. 6 weeks maceration and then ageing in foudres for about 12 months. Should be kept at least 4 years. 

Cotes du Rhone La Bouvau
80% Grenache and 20% Cinsault. Younger vines.
3 weeks maceration and aged in cement tank.
 

Cotes du Rhone Vieilles Vignes
3,5 ha. at Plan de Dieu with with big stones and 80-years-old Grenache and 70-years-old Carignan and Mourvedre. 4 weeks maceration and aged in cement tank.
