When ploughing the fields around Saint Gayan
roman vestiges are often revealed proving human presence at the place for at
least two milleniums.
The family of today know about ancesters back to 14. century. In 1709 the estate
was purchased by a direct forefather. Thus there is of course a feeling of
affinity present at the domain. Today it's the 10th generation running the
domain.
To the domain belongs 16 ha Gigondas, 0,75
ha Chateauneuf du Pape, 1,4 ha Cotes du Rhone
Village Sablet, 5 ha. Cotes du Rhone Village Rasteau and 11 ha Cotes du Rhone.
Wines:
Chateauneuf du Pape
88% Grenache, 6%
Syrah and 6% Mourvedre. The average age of the vines is 55 years. The wine is aged in demi-muids
for about 12 months.
Gigondas
75% Grenache,
15% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre.

Gigondas Fontmaria
From the best part of the
harvest. This cuvée is strictly limited to 2% of the production and is
aged as the basic Gigondas, but never in new demi-muids.
Cotes du Rhone Village Rasteau
65% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah. Aged in cement tank.
Cotes du Rhone Village Sablet Blanc
40% Viognier, 28% Bourboulenc, 13% Clairette, 12% Grenache Blanc and 5%
Roussanne.
Cotes du Rhone
65% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre.
Vin de Pays de la Principauté l'Orange Rosé
90% Grenache and 10% Carignan.
