The domain was established in 1838 by a forefather of Franck Alexandre
The domain covers 12 ha: 10 ha Gigondas, 1 ha Cotes du Rhone and 1 ha vin du Pays.

Half of the production is bought by Perrin et Fils and is used for Gigondas les Gilles as well as for the mini cuvée of Vieilles Vignes

Gigondas Cuvée Alexandre
From 1 ha. with very old vines, 80% Grenache and 12 other varieties..
Aged for 12 months in foudres.

Gigondas
80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Aged for 12 months in foudres.

Gigondas Rosé
33% Grenache, 44% Cinsault and 23% Mourvedre.

Cotes du Rhone
50% Grenache and 50% Syrah.

Vin du Pays de Vaucluse
Grenache and Syrah.

.Franck Alexandre is the president of the Syndicat of Gigondas.

The linden at the courtyard is called The three of liberation.
It was planted just after the Frenache revolution .

Franck is proud of this vineyard and it's understandable. Some of the vines are about 120-years-old and have not been grafted as nearly all European vines after the phylloxera in the 1860'ties.
