One of his suppliers was the owner of Domaine du Grand Montmirail, and when he wanted to retire he sold the domain to Denis Cheron. In the 1980-ties his son Yves Cheron took over after finishing wine school in Beaune.

The domains' own vineyards covers 46 ha.: 35 ha. Gigondas, 7 ha. Vacqueyras, 2 ha. Beaumes de Venise and 2 ha. Muscat de Beaumes de Venise.
