Colline Saint Jean has been in possession of the Alazard
family for generations.
The domain covers 35 ha. with vineyards
in four appellations.
All of the production is bottled at the domain.
The winemaking is tradtional and the red wines are aged in old small or
bigger barrels.
Wines
Gigondas
75% Grenache and 25% Mourvedre.
75% is aged in foudres and the rest in barriques for about 12 months.
Vacqueyras
70% Grenache 25% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre. 20% aged in barriques, 80% in foudres.
Vacqueyras Vieilles Vignes
80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Aged in foudres or barriques.
Beaumes de Venise
70% Grenache and 30% Syrah.
Cotes du Rhone
45% Grenache, 30% Carignan and 25% Cinsault.
Cotes du Rhone Rosé
50% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 20% Cinsault and 20%
Carignan.
