The name of the domain comes from a noble family, Panisse,
who owned the place and other properties in Courthezon some centuries ago.
The domain was purchased by Jean
Marie Olivier in 1992.
The property covers a total of 18 ha.
with vines, 6 ha. in Chateauneuf du Pape, 6 ha. in Cotes du Rhone
and 6 ha of
Vin du Pays. Only red wines are made.
Red Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée Tradition
The
basic cuvée is made from 44% Grenache, 40% Mourvedre and 16% Cinsault.
A bit of Syrah can be a part in some years.
Ageing takes place in cement tanks.
Red Chateauneuf du Pape Confidence
Vigneronne
is a blend from 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah.
Ageing in cement tanks and foudres.
Red Chateauneuf du Pape Noble
Revelation
is made from 40% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre and 30% Syrah.
This cuvée is aged in barriques.
Red Cotes du Rhone Murmure des Vignes
From 85% Grenache and 15% Syrah situated in Serignan du Comtat.
