The firm was founded in 1898, when a forefather of the owners today bought the property.
In 1975 a negociantfirm was established. It has been called "Cave Jamet", "Le Sang du Peuple" and "La Vallée du Mistral".

From the 10 ha. of Chateauneuf du Pape bought in 1898 two cuvées are made.

Chateauneuf du Pape

70% Grenache, 20% Syrah 5% Mourvedre and 5% Cinsault.
From 50-years-old vines. Aged in foudres for about 12 months. (2009: 13€)

Chateauneuf du Pape Prestige
80% Grenache and 20% Syrah.
From 60-years-old vines. Aged in foudres for 12-14 months. (2007: 20€)

Philippe Cambie has been advising oenoligist at the domain since 2008.

The negociant wines are Gigondas, Cotes du Rhone, Vin de Pays and Vin de Table.
