Parts of the chateau and cellars date back to the XV century.
The family Arnaud have owned the property for 3 generations. In 1995 the neighbouring domain Chateau Maucoil was purschased and Guy Arnaud managed both domains together with his daughters.
In 2009 Guy Arnaud has left the management to his two daughters. Agnes Arnaud married to Patrick Vernier is in charge of Cabrières and her sister Bénédicte married to Charles Bonnet is in charge of Maucoil.
The two domains are run in close cooperation and since 2008 the maître de chais
is the same person, Egon Thibaut.

30 ha. belong to Cabrières of which 5 ha. are Cotes du Rhone.
The average age of vines is about 50 years and some parcels are more than 100 years old. In the old parcels you will find all varities of grapes and from here the best cuvées are made - in good vintages.

Chateauneuf du Pape Le Grand Rocasson
80% Grenche og 20% Syrah. Lagres på tank i 6 mdr.

Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition
50% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre and 10% Cinsault.
Aged in barriques for 6-12 months.

Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée Prestige
50% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre, 10% Cinsault and 10% Vaccarèse, Counoise, Muscardin, Picpoul, Picardan, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Roussanne and Terret Noir.
Yield 12-15 hl/ha. Aged in barriques for 18 months.

Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée Centenaire (el. Lettre à Louis Arnaud)
From vine planted 1900 and 1902. Mainly Grenache but all allowed grapes are there. Yield 8-10 hl/ha.
Aged in barriques for 18 months.

Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc
30% Clairette, 30% Bourboulenc, 30% Grenache Blanc and 10% Roussanne.

Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Cuvée Prestige
30% Clairette, 30% Bourboulenc, 30% Grenache Blanc and 10% Roussanne.
Fermented and aged in barriques for 7 months.

Cotes du Rhone Village
60% Grenache og 40% Syrah. Lagres 3 mdr. på barriques.

Cotes du Rhone
60% Grenache and 40% Syrah.

Cotes du Rhone Rosé Eclat de Rosé
50% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Mourvedre and 10% Cinsault.
