The domain covers 32 ha in Chateauneuf du Pape and 25 ha in Rasteau. From the vineyards in Rasteau are made Cotes du Rhone Village Rasteau, Vin doux Naturel and Cotes du Rhone.

All vineyards belonging to Domaine de Beaurenard will be agriculture biologique from 2010 and then from 2012 agriculture biodynamique.

The property has been in possession of the family for 7 generations. In a document from 1695 the place is called Bois Renard, which later became Beaurenard. The old name is also used for the red and white special cuvées.
Today the brothers Daniel and Frédéric Coulon are in charge. Their father Paul Coulon has retired. He was until 2005 Grand Auditeur, president, of the Eschansonnerie des Pape. Today Daniel Coulon is vice-chansellier, vice president, of the brotherhood.
