In 1978 Dominique Bouche and his wife Sylvette created cellars at the property which had been in possession of the family at least since before 1703 when Catherine Bouche joined a local cooperation of wine growers.
Hi father had deliveret the grapes to Coopérative Vinicole de Camaret – Sérignan. 
Dominique Bouche named (of course) the estate Domaine Bouche. 
The 24 of vineyards includes 0,5 hectares of Chateauneuf du Pape, but are mainly situated in CDRV Plan de Dieu, in the future appellation CDRV Sainte Cecile, Cotes du Rhone and IGP.

57-year-old with no heirs who wanted to take over the domain, Dominique Bouche decided to sell the property. In 2012 he sold the domain to a Chinese company in Macau (Portuguese colony until 1999 and then a part of China). The Chinese company is a part of the financial empire founded by Stanley Ho (f.1921) whose companies are now led by Louis Ng Chi Sing. Simultaneously with the acquisition of Domaine Bouche, now called Chateau Bouche, the Chinese company also bought Chateau Gevry Chambertin in Burgundy and Chateau Bel Air in Bordeaux.
The sale brought Mr Bouche "inférieure à deux millions d'euros". He will after the sale continue to be manager of the domain. It is expected that the wines preferably will be marketed in the Chinese market
