Chapelle St. Theodoric is not a domain in the usual sence of the word.
The grapes for the wine come from 3 ha of AOP Chateauneuf du Pape since 2009 belonging to the american wine importer Peter Weygandt.
The cultivation of the vines and the winemaking is done by the team at Domaine de Christia.
The 3 ha are situated at two lieux-dits Guigasse and Pignan both areas where the soil is sandy and nearly without stones. All parcels contain only Grenache Noir with an average age of 50 years - some vines are up to one hundred years old.
The first vintage was 2009.
The vineyards are cultivated by biodynamic principles.
In the first vintages since 2009 the yield has only been around 14 hl/ha.

Chapelle Saint-Theodoric is the name of an old chapel situated by the parking place in the centre of Chateauneuf du Pape at Avenue Baron le Roy.
The chapel is one of the oldest hitorical buildings of Chateauneuf du Pape. It's used for expositions and has no relations to the vineyards mentioned here.
Gabriel Meffre makes a necociant Chateauneuf du Pape by the name "Sainte Théodoric".

Left: Chapelle Saint-Théodoric is an old parish church from the 10th century.

Right: At the map of lieux-dits you see that the two lieux-dits are not far from Le Cristia
and by the way Le Rayas.
