The Lavau family was for generations working with wine in
Tunesia
In 1964 they returned to France and established a negociant firm in Violes.
The cellars are situated on 3 locations in Rhone and wine is bought
from about 300 producers.
Wines aged in Violes:
Chateauneuf du Pape
50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre.
Aged for12 months in barriques.
Gigondas
50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre.
30% aged in barriques.
Vacqueyras
50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre.
20% aged in barriques.
Tavel
50% Grenache, 50% Cinsault and 5% Syrah.
