In 1995 Nathalie and Patrick Fabre
took over as 4th generation at the property. At that time some parts of
the fields were grown with tomatoes and melons.
The grapes from some vineyards were sold to the cooperative. The new
generation decided only to grow vines and a cellar was build. The first
vintage with own name was bottled in vintage 2000.
The domain covers 3,5 ha. inAOC Chateauneuf
du Pape and 2,5 ha. in AOC Cotes du Rhone. The vines were plantes
1927-1999. A part of the production is sold to negociants.
Certification as agriculture biologique
since 2012.
Wines:
Chateauneuf du Pape
85% Grenache and 15% Mourvedre.
Macerationen for 22 days and then ageing in old barrels for a year.
Chateauneuf du Pape Réserve de Felicièn
100% Grenache planted by a forefather Felicièn.
Made in the same way as the basic cuvé.
Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc
A small produktion from Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc and Roussanne.
Cotes du Rhone
80% Grenache and 20% Syrah.
Vinification and ageing as for Chateauneuf du Pape.
