The Biscarrat family have been wine growers in the area for 6 generations.
Marie and Julien Biscarrat (sister and brother) took over at the domain in 2005 and changed the name
from Domaine du Calongues to Domaine de l'Arnesque, named after the fields in
Chateauneuf du Pape, situated in lieu-dit Arnesque. Until the take over Domaine
Calonges had been run by the two brothers Laurent (Julien's father) and Vincent
Biscarrat.
The husband of Marie Biscarrat, Sebastian Pathier, is responsible for the wine
making.
The total area belonging to the domain is 54,5 ha. 4,5
ha Chateauneuf du Pape, 10 ha. Cotes du Rhone Village, 20 ha. Cotes du
Rhone and 20 ha Vin de Pays.
The fields of Chateauneuf du Pape is located at the west hill-side of the
Mont Redon plateau. The other vineyards are situated in Orange, Jonquieres
and Serignan.
The wines:
Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée Capelane
100% Grenache. It's is aged in oak vats for 6-12 months.
Cotes du Rhone Village
75% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre.

85% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 5% Carignan
Cotes du Rhone Blanc
