The Jacumin family has for more
than a century been wine growers in Chateauneuf du Pape. The estate has been handed down
for four generations from father to son.
The son of Alain and Sylvette Jacumin, Albin Jacumin, graduated from
wine school, is today responsible for the winemaking.
The federation of wine growers wishes that only wines from AOC
Chateauneuf du Pape include the name "Pape" at the
labels. Therefore the name of the domain has been changed to
Domaine Albin Jacumin.
New cellars have resently been built in the northern part of the town.
The property covers 16 ha. of Chateauneuf du Pape and 2
ha. of Cotes du Rhone.
The wines:
Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc
60% Clairette, 35% Grenache Blanc and 5% Bourboulenc. Produktion 400 fl.
Chateauneuf du Pape
From 85% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre and 5% Syrah.
The grapes are destalked before fermentation in
cement tanks, and the wine is aged in 2-3 years old barrels for 6-8 months.

Cotes du Rhone
90% Grenache, 7% Syrah and 3% Cinsault.
This wine is aged in foudres for 6 months. (12.000 bottles made)
