Until 2000 Patrice Combe and his father sold all his production to the cooperative in
Courthezon. After establishing
a new cellar 2000-2003 he
started bottling at the domain. From 2004 Chateauneuf du Pape is sold with own
label.
The domain covers 6 ha. in Chateauneuf du Pape, 10 ha Cotes du Rhone
and 10 ha. IGT Orange.
The vineyards are certified agriculture biologique
since 2012
Wines
Chateauneuf du Pape
80% Grenache and 20% Cinsault. Partly aged in barrels for 12 months.
Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée Clément
90% Grenache and 10% Cinsault. Partly aged in barrels for 12 months.
(Debut 2006)
Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée Mathieu
90% Grenache and 10% Cinsault. Aged in barrels for 12 months. (Debut
2007)
The two special cuvées are named after Coste's two sons Clément and
Mathieu.
Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Feuilles d'Or
50%
Grenache Blanc and 50% Clairette.
Aged for 6 months in one-year-old barriques.
Cotes du Rhone
Grenache and Cinsault. 50% aged in barriques for 12 months.
Red Cotes du Rhone Cuvée la Vieux Chêne
Grenache and Cinsault. Aged in wood for 12 months.
Cotes du Rhone Rosé
Grenache and Cinsault.
Cotes du Rhone Blanc
Grenache Blanc and Clairette. Fermentation and ageing for 12 months in
barriques.
