The firm was established in 1996 by three winegrowers in the area north of  Vienne Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard and François Villard. In the beginning they wanted to recall the forgotten wines Vins de Vienne, which in Roman time had a good reputation.
The three winegrowers and friends each have a domain in northern Rhone:
Yves Quilleron: Domaine Yves Quilleron Verlieu, 42410 Chavanay.
Pierre Gaillard: Domaine Pierre Gaillard, Lieu dit Chez Favier,  42520 Malleval.
François Villard: Domaine François Villard, Montjoux 42410 Saint Michel sur Rhône.
In 2003 a friend Pierre Jean Villa joins up as manager.

The cellars of the negociant firm are established by the vineyards bought in 1996.
Wines are made from many appellations in the northern and the southern Rhone and of course from their own vineyards which are situated in AOC Vin de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes. The wines from here is named with old Roman names as Sotanum, Taburnum and Heluicum.

Wines from southern Rhone:

Chateauneuf du Pape les Otéliées
60% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre, Counoise and other varieties. 
Aged for 18 months in one-year-old barriques.

Gigondas La Pimpignoles
Grenache and Syrah. Aged for 18 months in barriques.

Vacqueyras La Silotte

Cotes du Rhone Village Cairanne Perpendaille

Cotes du Rhone Village Visan La Tine

Cotes du Rhone Les Granilles
50% Syrah and 50% Grenache. Aged for 12 months in newer barriques.

Cotes du Rhone Blanc Les Granilles
50% Marsanne and 50% Viognier.
