In 1920 the owner of the place Sophie Simian passed away without having any descendant and the place was bequeathed to a servant at the place Marcelle Laudret. She was the grandmother of the owner today Jean-Pierre Serguier. The Serguier name comes from Yves Serguier from a wine grower family in Chateauneuf du Pape, who married the daughter of Marcelle Laudret.
Jean Pierre Serguier has been the owner since 1981. Thus he is at least the third generation of wine growers and the second generation at Chateau Simian.
Since 2010 the next generation Florian Serguier after finishing the wine school in Orange has joined his father. He prefers the work in the vineyards. Also since 
2010 Pierre Chaupin has been responsible for making the wines in cooperation with Jean-Pierre anfd Florian.
Today the estate covers 25 ha. of vineyards: 6 ha of Chateauneuf du Pape, 5 ha of Massif d'Uchaux, 5 ha of Cotes du Rhone og 9 ha. Vin du France. 
The vineyards are certified agriculture biologique and agriculture biodynamique.

Chateauneuf du Pape Le Traversier
2017: 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre and 5% Cinsault.
Matured in cement tank for 18 months

Chateauneuf du Pape Les Grandes Grenachières d'Hippolyte
2016: 95% Grenache and 5% other varieties. Planted 1880-1948. 18 hl./ha.

Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Le Traversier
2019: 50% Grenache Blanc, 35% Roussanne and 15% Bourboulenc.
 
Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc La Font d'Hippolyte
2015: 50% Roussanne, 30% Clairette and 20% Grenache Blanc
Fermented and aged in 0-2-years-old barriques or 1-year-old demi-muids
