Uchaux is not a village but a commune consisting of several small settlements "hameaux". One of them is Les Farjons named after a family who flied from Marseilles during Great Plague of Marseille in 1720. A descendant from this family André Farjon owned the property until 2011.
Today André Farjon's son Benjamin and his son-in-law Michel Berger run the domain covering 55 fa. of Cairanne, Massif d'Uchaux, Visan, Cotes du Rhone and IGP.
The vineyards are certified agriculture biologique since 2011.
