domain covering 7,4 ha. is situated near the Dentelles de Montmirail at an altitude of 400
metres (500 m for the white varieties) 5 ha. are in AOC Beaumes de
Venise and 2,4 ha. in Cotes du Rhone.
The average age of the wines is 45 years - some are around 90 yerars old. The
fields have been owned by the family since 1756 - for 8 generations. In
2002 Bernard Mendez started to make and
bottle the wines at the esatate.
