Domaine du Joncier was created by Pierre
Roussel in the 1964 and since 1989 it has been run by his daughter Marine
Roussel.
The cellar situated in the old part of Tavel is rather compact as it is to be
seen from the photos below.
The domain covers 32 ha. in the Lirac appellation.
For years the
vineyards have been treated organic. Certification as agriculture biologique
and agriculture biodynamique.
The yield never exceed 28 hl./ha.
The vineyards are covered with galet roulés and the wines are very
authentic vins du terroir.

Lirac Cuvee Gourmand
60% Grenache and varying shares of other varieties.
Lirac Cuvée Classique
80% Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre
and 20% Cinsault and Carignan.
Lirac Cuvée Les Muses
About 60% Mourvedre and varying shares of other
varieties.
Lirac Rosé
45% Grenache, 45% Cinsault and 10% Syrah
Lirac Blanc
60% Roussanne, 20% Marsanne and 30% Bourboulenc.
