In 1945 just after the war Raoul de Lanzac de Chaunac founded this domain. In the beginning with a very limited production in the cellar of a private house in the town of Lirac. The production increased during the following years and in 1978 new cellars very built just outside the town in the direction of Pujaut.
Today the domain is run by a son of Raoul, Norbert de Lanzac, and his mother Dominique de Lanzac.

The domain covers 12 ha. of Tavel and 6 ha of Lirac and Cotes du Rhone.

The Tavel wines is made from Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Clairette and Bourboulenc
